Our premium catback exhaust system is a full length T304 stainless steel exhaust system that's sure to turn heads! Cast flanges make a smooth transition from the factory turbo catalyst pipes into our downpipes and upgrade the size of the piping to 3". High quality brushed T304 stainless steel adorns the system with TIG welding throughout. The piping is as straight and smooth as possible, with mandrel bends and minimal mufflers for maximum flow. Quad pipes exit the system into the exhaust tips and consist of dual 3" valved exhaust paths and dual 2.5" non-valued paths. This allows for multiple sound profiles depending on driving style. The RS Q8 is a monster and sounds absolutely menacing when under wide pen throttle. When the vales open, the fire-breathing twin-turbo V8 gets rowdy. Expect a deep and throaty roar that will send shivers up and done your spine as you're pinned to the back of your seat. And yet when you contain the beat and drive like a normal human being the ECU controlled valves close, reducing sound volume and drone. If you fight the urge to drive like a maniac, the exhaust will reward you with a pleasant low rumble that lets you know its there without upsetting the neighborhood. The factory exhaust system uses a complex array of hydroformed piping that has a maximum diameter of 2.75” and reduces below this in various areas. Various mufflers and resonators disrupt exhaust flow to tame sound levels. It’s not ideal.

Our system uses all high quality materials such as T304 stainless steel, which is mandrel bent and TIG welded. All brackets are precise and high quality to resist sagging and make install simple. The system starts right at the factory catalysts. Cast inlets feed into the 3” piping, which extends all the way out of the 3” valved path. It’s as smooth and straight through as possible with only a single straight through muffler on each cylinder bank. During normal cruise, the valves close and switch to a dual 2.5” pipe to limit volume and drone.

MUFFLERS

The mufflers are responsible for tuning the exhaust note and do so without adding unnecessary restrictions to the system. Each unit features a straight-through perforated tube that’s tightly wrapped with stainless steel and fiberglass material. The mufflers have a beautiful brushed finish.

EXHAUST VALVES

Our system features two valves that allow control of the volume of the system via the factory exhaust valve actuators. In doing so, the system can go from tame to aggressive instantly! Unlike pneumatic systems, and other common valves found in the market today, our system maintains identical OEM operation all the way down to the factory valve actuation angles. We cast the valve housings out of T304 stainless-steel. Internally the system uses CNC-machined T303 components and bronze bushings, which have stood up to our extreme torture testing. All necessary hardware is welded into place and is designed to combat heat and vibration for years to come.

BRACKETS

Our brackets ensure a strong and precise fit, every time. With our design, you’ll never need to worry about the brackets sagging and losing their shape over time, or the post slipping out of the hangers. The brackets are rigid, exact in their position, fit snugly in place and are made to stand the test of time.

CASTING, TUBING, AND WELDS

We use T304 stainless steel tubing throughout. We brush and de-burr all pipes, use mandrel bending techniques to ensure the pipes keep a constant diameter throughout, and use argon-back purged TIG welding for a strong and attractive weld. The downpipes use cast adapter for an ultra-smooth transition into the system.

FLEX SECTION

We use an OEM-style flex section that’s fully sealed with a corrugated inner lining. This improves flow and resists issues that cause other styles to collapse, billow, and fail.

CLAMPS

Our system uses OEM-style low-profile slip clamp. Our clamp selection allows the system to sit high in the exhaust. Each connection point is strategically placed to ensure the system has minimal opportunity to rotate during install or during years of heavy driving. There’s no cutting, welding, or glaring compatibility issues no matter the scenario. Just Plug and Play!

COMPATIBILITY

We’ve designed our system to be 100% bolt-on. There’s no cutting, welding, or finagling to get the system to fit. It simply bolts on for use with the factory turbocharger catalyst pipes with all hardware included.
