Great product! Needed alittle modification on the bracket but it was an easy installation.

Installment issues

The finished product looks very good. But it didn’t come easily. The installment was cumbersome. Certain pieces didn’t fit. The metal bracket from the old grille that is supposed to fit on the new one did not. The hood latch was not able to fit, therefore me having to completely redesign how I open my hood. Although finished product looks good. Not worth $230 though.

Not so easy

The grille looks great on the 4Runner, but is not as easy as it should be to attach. The metal bracket that comes off of the old grill does not fit properly so you have to do some bending and or grinding on it to make it fit. The tabs or bolts that come with the new grill do not fit in the slots were the old tabs would go. When you try to attach the nut to each of them they start to spin. I had to very carefully press in the old bolt/tabs from the old grill without breaking the plastic. It did not come with any instructions so I had to go on YouTube and find a decent video. It seems like some thing a novice should be able to do but with all the little intricacies you had to do during the change it made it more difficult than it should have.
